Differentology follows the example and teachings of Jesus Christ in the pursuit of making disciples. We are a vehicle (vessel?) for any seeker of Christian truth to begin, refine, or repair the biblically mandated process of life-changing Christian sanctification.
Who We Are…..
The Pillars of our Faith
Paul’s commission to spread the gospel calls us not to conform to this world, but to be different. Being different requires pillars of biblical faith to stand on and forge ahead for the glory of God. These are our areas of interest (Robert). Differentology stands on these 6 pillars.
-
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three distinct, but equal persons.
Gen 1:26, Matthew 28:19, John 4:24
-
We believe in the Virgin Birth of the Jewish Messiah as prophesied by Isaiah. This is non-negotiable for the arrival of Messiah.
Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:20-23
-
We believe in the torture and barbaric crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth as substitutionary atonement for our sins. Jesus’s death satisfied God’s wrath for the sin that began with the fall of man.
2 Cor 5:21
We believe in the physical resurrection of Jesus, his appearance to hundreds in his resurrected body and his ascension into heaven where he sits at the right hand of the Father interceding on our behalf.
Mark 16:6-7
-
We believe that mankind currently exists in a religious culture that complicates Christianity. Jesus plus nothing else will equal salvation, ask the thief on the cross who is in paradise today.
Romans 10:9, John 3:16, Luke 23:40-43
-
We believe in a covenantal God who does what he says he will do, as seen in the Abrahamic, Mosaic, Davidic and New Covenants.
Romans 10:9, Genesis 12:1-3, Deuteronomy 28, 2 Samuel, Jeremiah 31:31-34
-
We believe that God’s will for every believer is to be sanctified to the image of Jesus Christ. It is a biblical mandate that through Holy Spirit, professing Christians experience new birth and undergo constant Spiritual regeneration.
1 Timothy 4:15, Thes 4:3, Hebrews 5:12
-
We believe in the physical return of Jesus Christ to the earth where he will judge the living and the dead.
Acts 1:11, 2 Tim 4:1, 1 Peter 4:5
